With his camera in-hand wherever he goes, Schiliro captures photos that tell stories of each travel adventure. While he enjoys capturing his own personal experiences through travel photography, his portfolio has evolved with time. The evolution of his travel photography has shifted towards highlighting the people and culture of different regions around the world. Focusing on more than just majestic landscapes and captivating scenery, Schiliro’s travel photography often tells the story of local people and their day to day lives.

Even when he isn’t able to physically travel, Anthony Schiliro continues to embark on grand adventures. From anywhere in the world — near, far or even at home! — Schiliro is able to explore through reading books and watching movies. Captivated by the worlds of Science Fiction and Horror, Schiliro is a huge fan of works that take him to another world. The same is true for his interest in films and movies. His favorite authors include Vonnegut, Fitzgerald, Poe, Cummings, Plath, Tolstoy, Orwell, Kafka and Melville. Schiliro is a huge fan of David Lynch films and movies directed by creative geniuses like Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorcesse and, of course, the Master of Horror and Prince of Darkness Himself: John Carpenter.
